Linear to Circular is launching a social enterprise in Bangkok, Thailand that will work directly with the city’s informal waste community.

Full Circle Filament aims to increase the incomes of waste pickers, while also increasing recycling rates. Our first product will be high-quality 3D printing filament made from waste plastic.

Our goal is to develop a replicable model that can be implemented wherever similar conditions exist, while also helping others see the opportunities within the resources we currently waste.

We’ve worked with Covestro’s inclusive business unit to develop the technical proof-of-concept for our product. We can make the filament.

We’re now fundraising to finish product testing and market research. If you know any organizations, or competitions with grants for efforts with the sort of social and environmental benefits we’re targetting, please let us know. (There’s a form at the bottom of the page.)
